We provide micro-grants of up to $1,000 to young adults ages 18–25 who are building something real — a business, a nonprofit, or a skilled trade. No perfect plans required. Just honesty and a willingness to act.

About the Program
The Live Boldly Micro-Grant Program exists to deliver a clear message to young adults at a pivotal moment in life: belief comes before ability, and when belief is paired with work and openness, meaningful success follows — even when the path unfolds differently than planned.
We award modest grants designed to remove early barriers that prevent capable young adults from taking the next step. Our decisions are based on clarity of intent, willingness to act, and alignment with the Live Boldly philosophy — not on polished plans, hardship narratives, or predicted outcomes.
Applications are reviewed monthly by an independent grants committee. A limited number of grants are awarded each cycle to maintain focus, fairness, and sustainability.
The Process
A simple, human form. Most people finish in about 30 minutes. Tell us what you're building, why it matters, what you need the money for, and what drives you. No fancy language required.
Applications are reviewed monthly by our independent 3–5 person grants committee. Decisions are documented, non-comparative, and made without the founder acting as sole decision-maker.
Selected grantees receive funding paid directly to vendors or via reimbursement with receipts. All applicants receive their free copy of Live Boldly regardless of outcome.
Selected grantees are invited to optional group office hours and limited advisory conversations with experienced builders. Voluntary, no strings attached.
Grant Application
This application is designed to be simple and human. Most people finish it in about 30 minutes.
We are not looking for perfect resumes, polished language, or big promises. We are looking for people who are honest about where they are, clear about where they want to go, and willing to take responsibility for their next step.
Questions
Up to $1,000. Most grants are awarded for smaller, clearly defined amounts. Trade-related grants may occasionally go up to $1,500. The lifetime cap per recipient is approximately $2,000.
No. We care more about clarity and effort than formal structure. You don't need polished plans, business registration, or nonprofit status to apply. Just tell us honestly what you're building.
Yes. Many of our applicants are first-time grant seekers. There's no prior experience required — only honesty about where you are and where you're headed.
You'll still receive a free digital copy of Live Boldly, written by our founder. You're also welcome to apply again in the future if your situation changes. We believe encouragement should never be conditional.
Typically 2–4 weeks after the monthly application cycle closes. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed once per month by our grants committee.
No. Grants are intended for forward-moving, specific costs tied to your work or goal — tools, fees, certifications, training, or other clearly defined one-time expenses.
No. There is no income verification, no credit check, and no performance guarantee required. We don't select based on hardship narratives or predicted outcomes — only clarity of intent and willingness to act.
